NEVE Audience Reaction Microphone Mixer

Ok, so it isn't a console. You are looking at a Neve Audience Reaction Microphone Mixer, a small, one rack space 10x1 outboard mixer offered as an option to expand the capabilities of 1970s Neve consoles when they were used in broadcast applications. This one was ordered with the 8024 console I'm pictured working at below during a session. The Reaction Mixer was a basic little guy, but designed and built to the highest standards by the master (Ruper Neve) with top flight components including ten input pots with concentric push/push on/off switches and lovely isolating transformers. It's a wonderful little piece of recording history and of my history as well. The pic below is from 1984 when I was a wee lad of twenty-seven, by the way:
